The Famous Burrus Unused Red Scinde Dawk 1852 “Scinde Dawk” 1/2a red, unused, light crack between 6 & 7 o’clock, very fine. This is the only known and recognised example of the red Scinde Dawk unused. A World Philatelic Gem being the first stamp of Asia in the finest known quality, which could be considered as the most valuable stamp of India. Provenance: Ex Burrus Expertise: Cert.
