NSW inc 1851 Two Pence blue ( toning); Victoria inc 'Queen on Throne' 2d, 3d & 6d; Van Diemans Land inc items from 1853-1860s; Tasmania inc 1863-71 One Shilling (3); New Zealand inc 10 items from 1858-1862 issues. Some faults and some significant duplication particularly in Tasmania pictorials. Mixed condition, inspection recommended. (c.400). Includes several Official covers & fronts from Australian Museum, Sydney mostly addressed to GB. Also a long, printed O.H.M.S. env. inscribed "CROP REPORTS" with the printed 4d brown NSW stamp optd. "Specimen". A few early stamped covers noted inc. Dec. 1856 cover from Sydney to Melbourne franked with a pair of 3d yellow green imperfs. ROWLAND HILL AUTOGRAPHED LETTER: 21st July 1835 EL signed by Hill as Secretary at "South Australian Colonial Office" to "Benjamin R. Baker". Hill was secretary from 1833 to 1839 and worked successfully to establish a settlement without convicts at what is today Adelaide.
