Signed Kruschel; certs. von der Weid (1998), van der Linden (1998).rnrnNote: For mail abroad from Alsace & Lorraine the French rates were valid until November 11, 1870. Thereafter, as for this cover, the German rates came into force with 6 groschen being the rate to the receiver in Spain. 1 groschen had to be paid by a 10 centimes adhesive, 2 groschen by a 25 centimes stamp, the 75 centimes rate seen here reflects therefore correctly three times 2 groschen.
