7060 imageSicily: 1860 (March 10): ½ gr. orange, plate I, horizontal strip of three (positions 42-44), very fresh with enormous margins, in combination with adjoining stamp from pos. 41 (just touched) on letter from Termini to Palermo. The strip is tied by PALERMO circular date stamp to the letter, with the TERMINI oval mark alongside. The franking together with a large part of the letter has been carefully reinserted into its original place on the letter-sheet whilst the certificates emphasise the good qualitiy of the item. Certs.
