30301 image1891 (June 18): De La Rue Appendix sheet for proposed Keyplate issue rejected in favour of the 1892 bicoloured issue, with 6 d. Imperforate Colour Trials in dull lilac (8) and in dull green (4) all with various coloured Duty Plates and country löegend "TASMANIA" hand-painted in Chinese white with proposed values annotated in manuscript alongside. Manuscript at base "The 1 d. and 2 d. duties are included in the above colour scheme, although we believe that it is proposed at present to produce the stamps from the existing plates....we would proposed purple for the 1 d. and green for the 2 d.".
