4298 image1896 (Aug 1): Locally surcharged 36 c. on 45 c. brown & carmine, an unused block of twelve (6 x 2) with interpanneau margin at left and sheet margin at right, the complete lower row with variety "Surcharge Double" but almost in alignment, stamp 3 on this row shows short "T" and fifth stamp short "N" in surcharges; the first stamp in the top row has pre-surcharge flaw, third stamp fainrt "E" and fifth stamp "Split NTS", the sheet margin at right showing an albino Inverted impression of the surcharge, fresh and very fine, hinged for protection on large part or unmounted og.
