1855 cover from Sydney to Paris endorsed 'per 'Boomerang' via Melbourne', tied by Sydney barred obliterator in black with Sydney datestamp (June 2). Struck on despatch with framed 'INSUFFICIENTLY / STAMPED' in black. On arrival in Liverpool struck
with both 'AUSTRALIAN / PACKET / LIVERPOOL' datestamp (Sept 19) and with large charge marking "d 6" (pence) on front. Struck in London with 'COLONIES / &c. ART 13' in red with transit cds verso (Sept 21) and thence via Calais to Paris where charged
