Guiana" double ring datestamp (Sept 25) with fine framed BRITISH / GUIANA / REGISTERED cachet in red below - earliest recorded date of use (Proud R2) and oval framed "Certificado / Lima" of arrival. Reverse with British Guiana Registered red wax seal and Lima cds (Nov 8). The cover with small fault at top but scarce, addressed to Paul Ascher who compiled the first postal stationery catalogues.
