Although the 24c 1861-66 Issue exists in large quantities of used stamps and a fair quantity of off-center original-gum examples, all of the shades are rare in higher grades with original gum. This superb example is remarkable not only for its centering and gum, but there are no traces of toning that often plague original-gum examples (Image)
