3703 og United States Unused Collection. Several hundred stamps on pages, commemoratives complete from 1901 to 1933 and includes Pan-Americans, Louisiana-Purchase, Jamestown, Panama-Pacific perf 12 and 10, white Plains souvenir sheet and others, regular issues from 1847 incl. two used examples of the 5c 1847 (one pen cancel removed, only used stamps in the collection), couple 1851's, several 1857's with values to 30c, 1861-66 five different to 24c, couple low value 1867 Grills and 1869 Pictorials, 29 different Large Bank Notes, fairly solid from 1879 to 1888, 1894 Bureau to $1.00 Ty. I, 1895 to 50c and 1898 complete to 15c, some Washington-Franklins with Nos. 414-419, 421, 422, 424-438, 462/476, 479-480, 498-518 complete less error and two others, 523-524, 547, 551-573, Kans.-Nebr. Ovpts and more, there are some coils but the flat plate issues are, for the most part, questionable, Air Post complete less the 1930 Zeppelins, some Special Delivery, Newspapers and a few others, the collector mounted his material in enclosed mount, so many of them have not been opened, spot checks show that the quality for the most part is rather nice with some faults or reperfs here and there, some earlies no gum or regummed, 20th Century is essentially 100% original gum based on our spot checks, nearly all Very Fine, a valuable lot that will require careful and patient removal of the encased stamps E. 5,000-7,500

3704 og Valuable 20th Century Balance Collection. Hundreds of stamps on Scott pages from 1901 to 1944 plus 1954 Liberty series, includes singles and multiples (blocks of four and some plate blocks), begins with Pan-American Issue singles (extra Mint N.H. 10c) and blocks of the 8c and 10c (Mint N.H. and regummed respectively), 1902 to $1.00 plus used $2.00, single 5c Imperf (no. 315), blocks of the 5c and 15c, imprint and plate no. block of ten of No. 320 (1989 P.F. certificate), Louisiana Purchase singles and blocks of 2c and 5c plus imprint and plate no. block of 3c, 1908-09 and 1910-11 complete, Mint N.H. blocks of four Nos. 343-47, Bluish Paper Nos. 357 and 369, some coil singles and pairs, 1917-19 complete less Nos. 500 and 511, used 523, better coil waste, 1922-25 complete singles plus a nice Mint N.H. block of the 50c and a bottom arrow block of the $2.00, Kans.-Nebr. Ovpt. singles plus plate blocks of the 5c and 7c (two) and a block of four of the 6c Kans., Farley Parks arrow blocks and plate blocks of six, 1938 Presidential singles and plate blocks and $5.00 Hamilton plate block (1053), air post with C1-C6 plus C3 pair, C10 plate block of six and booklet pane, also 1c-10c Trans.-Mississippi singles and a sizeable pile of miscellany which consists almost entirely of U.S. First Day covers going back to the 1960's, some modern Russia and modern Falkland Islands stamps and covers, condition varies somewhat but the vast majority is Fine-Very Fine E. 4,000-5,000

Approximately 400 different on pages, only one stamp is obviously used (5c Red Brown No. 1), others are unused with a relatively few exceptions where stamps have faint hidden or removed cancellations, includes five different 1857, nine different 1861-66, 1869 to 12c plus 1c Re-issue No. 123, Large Bank Notes virtually complete from 1870 Ungrilled to1888, 1890 complete, 1894 Bureau to 50c plus $2.00 and $5.00, 1895 complete less $1.00 Ty. Several hundred used and unused stamps in small stock book, used includes includes Nos. 1 (repaired), 71 six, 116 six, good selection of large Bank Notes, 223 on small piece used with -1/2c green Chefoo local tied by 1895 Nagasaki, Japan datestamp, 229 four, few used higher values Bureau Issues and 1902 complete to $5.00 with extra $2.00, unused includes a fair number of large Bank Notes with Nos. 187 two (one original gum, tiny pinholes, other unused no gum, small thin), 209 six with original gum, one dark shade approaching Black Brown, 1890 with values to 30c, exceptional 1894-98 Bureau Issues with better such as 276a pair, 276, some lower values in small quantities and 1902 to 50c with light duplication, also a few CSA General Issues, the unused is virtually all original gum, condition is mixed still there is a lot of useful value to be found, careful viewing recommended E. 3,000-4,000
