1134   ImageTelepost Co., 1908-09, Black on Gray Rouletted, "Telestamp" Franks (unlisted in Scott). Outstanding collection of 30 stamps plus two advertising postal cards, nine Ty. I designs and the balance Ty. II designs, singles, pairs, and two Ty. II proofs (one a pair, imperforate), two cancelled stamps, one a Ty. I and the other a Ty. II, both with violet rectangle handstamp which is described in Kramer book as "very rare", a few minor flaws

VERY FINE ASSEMBLAGE OF "TELESTAMP" FRANKS FROM THE TELEPOST COMPANY. THESE ARE VERY RARELY SEEN IN THE DEPTH OFFERED HERE.

We have seen dealer retail prices for the Ty. I and II stamps at $750 for a pair and $350 for a single. The two cancelled stamps could easily have been offered singly but are included here for completeness of the collection. The lot also includes a circular describing "What Telepost will do for You". 1141   Western Union Telegraph Co., 1871-1946, Collection (16T1-16T115). The Born collection of Western Union stamps mounted on his typed album pages in three large binders, plus an additional album and two stock books with duplication, virtually completely intact with just a small handful of imperf between items removed, upwards of 3,000 stamps, each issue studied with unused, used, blocks, panes, serial number varieties, etc., there are no high catalogue value stamps for this most famous of all telegraph companies, but there is plenty of value to be found in this extensive collection
