Six covers, incl. three bearing single 3c Rose (65) tied by Brownsville circular datestamp and sent by the post surgeon (who was also an officer in the 114th U.S. Colored Troops), with original contents, fourth with similar cancel addressed to him, fifth is cover and enclosure from soldier at Union-occupied Brownsville, last with manuscript "Matagorda Bays Texas" with No. 65 to Pa., overall Very Fine and fascinating group
