3107 F   imagePersia, Lion Issues, Forgeries & Reprints Reference Collection. Mr. Fabius Boital was a French engineer, living in Iran during the 1870s-90s period, and he was commissioned by the Iranian postal authorities to order the printing of postal envelopes as well as the typographed postage stamps of 1889, which he had them printed by a private firm in Paris. As far as known, these forgeries were made between the years1885 and 1890.
