Estimate  $3,000 - 4,000. This express was operated by Jerry A. Green who operated between Nevada City and Grass Valley as well as along the Yuba River. This red handstamp is believed to have been used in Nevada City while the like black handstamp is believed to have been used in Grass Valley. (Image1)

Hiram Lusk is known to have started Rhodes & Lusk's Express with James. H. Estimate  $2,000 - 3,000. Started in 1866, the Nevada City & Meadow Lake Express ran from Meadow Lake to Nevada City connecting with Wells, Fargo & Co. Estimate  $300 - 400. The Singer & Morrow Feather River Express was one of five expresses operated by colorful Capt. William E. Singer over a seven-year period. All of Singer's expresses carried mail between the Feather River mining camps and the base town of Marysville. In late 1855 Singer became partners with Thomas H. Morrow, forming the Singer & Morrow company, but in 1857 the partnership dissolved after Morrow proved to be an unreliable, if not crooked, partner. (Image1)

A WONDERFUL AND UNIQUE EARLY TRIPLE COMBINATION EXPRESS USAGE BETWEEN SWART, ADAMS & EVERTS. In May of 1854, Jesse H. Swarts purchased Almy's Oakland and San Francisco Express and ran a daily service over the same route.
