CHANNEL ISLANDS IN FOUR VOLUMES, The collection begins with a Kabe hingeless album for Guernsey and Jersey with regular issues virtually complete from 1969 through 1986. We checked a few and found them all to be MNH. Additionally, the album
contains several pages of mint gutter pairs. A second album contains Scott's pages for Alderney and Isle of Man with a scattering of stamps plus well-populated Guernsey and Jersey pages. Here you will find plenty of complete booklets and a few
interesting pages for Lundy. The third volume contains duplicates for the islands on manila stock pages annotated by Scott's numbers, including souvenir sheets, a few complete sheets, and miscellaneous items including what appears to be a postally
used 1942 Guernsey occupation cover. The fourth volume is crammed so full it is busting at the seams, again with issues from the four major islands. It contains mostly mint material with substantial duplication, much in full or partial sheets. |
