681 nhbl 424f image#424f, 1c Green, vertical pair, imperforate between and at top, a top right corner sheet-margin block of nine (3 x 3), displaying a fold over at top right, resulting in the creation of the very rare imperforate between error, the top center stamp in the block is also imperforate at top as a result of the fold over, centered to top, o.g., n.h., a few creases (which obviously created the error), couple of inconsequential perf. separations, very fine; one of only two known examples of this important Washington-Franklin error rarity, both of which have been certified as genuine by the Philatelic Foundation, and both are currently owned by Mr. Floyd (see next lot); 1987 PF certificate. 682 nhbl 424f image#424f, 1c Green, vertical pair, imperforate between and at top, the second of the two recorded examples of this error, this being a virtually identical fold over as part of a complete sheet of 100 (plate no. 7667), with the error pair being the top right vertical pair, while the stamp next to it also displays the imperforate at top variety, quite fresh, o.g., n.h., necessary creasing at top right, some vertical perforations have been separated between the ninth and tenth stamps at top right, due to double row of perforations, very fine; an enormously rare and important showpiece for the Washington-Franklin specialist or exhibitor; 1975 PF certificate; ex-Stollnitz.
