1087 O van Dam #SL18, SL18a, SL1 van Dam #SL18, SL18a, SL19, 1907 Saskatchewan $1.00 and $2.00 Coat of Arms Law stamps, second printing, a remarkable plate reconstruction of these two values which can be found both with normal and inverted backgrounds, some sheets of the $1.00 were printed with only position 1 of the sheet of 25 with an inverted background, while others were printed where all the positions except position 1 were with inverted backgrounds, two sheet reconstructions are found (missing only one stamp) of these two types of sheets, plus a complete reconstruction of the $2.00 value where positions 1 to 24 are with inverted backgrounds, while position 25 is normal, all with typical punch cancel and a few with additional crayon cancellations, usual small flaws, overall fine-very fine; an almost impossible group to duplicate. Only one sheet of this error was found in the Hankow post office, making a total of only 50 such stamps originally printed and, of course, this is unique as the sole plate number single from the sheet.This is only the second example of this rarity we have ever had the pleasure to offer in our auctions.
