3200 c ImagePrattville Ala., 5c Black entire (Unlisted). Clear strikes of "5" and "Paid" with half of "Paid" underneath 5c Blue, Local (7), used with second copy and tied by "Prattville Ala. Mar. 18" (ca. 1863) circular datestamp over obsolete U.S. 3c entire addressed to Greenville S.C., one stamp (which is creased) moved to reveal the "Paid", Fine and most unusual "double obsolete" use of a U.S. entire and C.S.A. provisional entire, the generally accepted definition for promoting an otherwise indistinguishable handstamped Paid to provisional status is that the entire is either unused, used from a different town, or struck underneath a General Issue stamp, as is the case here, signed Ezra Cole, unlisted in Scott and C.S.A.
