Jul. 13" duplex datestamp and cancel, blue 1875 company double-circle datestamp, addressed to Sacramento Cal. and paying four-times the 3c rate, pencil docketing at left indicating conveyance of stock proxies, backflap tear, Very Fine and exceedingly scarce used example of this high-value entire, illustrated in a 1992 Linn's article by Richard B. Approximately 80 entires, all or nearly all with A.P.S. certificates (circa 2004) stating Earliest Documented Use, a check of many revealed that they are still listed as such in Scott but it is possible some may have been superseded, some flaws to be expected with used entires but overall Fine-Very Fine, a fascinating group which would be difficult to duplicate, most ex Berkun, the cost of the certificates alone was probably more than $2,000
