3750 c Image1938 Howard Hughes Record Around The World Flight (AAMC 1307). Specially prepared legal-size Air Mail cover, mailed from New York on July 10 with No. C23 tied by duplex postmark, flown to France where 85c Air Post stamp was cancelled on July 11, then sent to Russia where 20k pre-cancelled stamp affixed, then sent to Fairbanks Alaska, Minneapolis and New York, where No. C19 was cancelled with July 14 arrival duplex, appropriate cachets and handstamps, signed by crew Stoddart, Connor and Lund, as well as Howard Hughes

EXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF THE VERY FEW COVERS FROM THIS FLIGHT THAT WAS ACTUALLY SIGNED BY HOWARD HUGHES.

Any cover from this flight is scarce, as they were only given to people connected with the flight. Of these, only three to five are believed signed by Howard Hughes. (Image)
