Customs/Mail Matter" oval handstamp (type II) in red, with "Shanghai Local Post/F" double-ring datestamp adjacent, used just after the amalgamation of the Local Post with the Imperial Post in Shanghai on November 1, 1897, with the Local Post then
reinstated under the Imperial Post to handle domestic and foreign mail in and out of Shanghai, vertical filing crease at left, Fine to Very Fine.
