2630 12 image1863, 10¢ blue (Scott 12), full pane of 200, o.g., never hinged, absolutely extraordinary complete pane of 200 which would yield two complete sheets/100; a condition rarity as the color is particularly strong and deep and the gum is amazingly fresh for a Confederate States issue, clearly showing the brush strokes used to apply the gum; an impressive showpiece that should be kept intact, as this complete pane has remained intact for over 150 years, and the demand for Extremely Fine never hinged singles could be just too tempting for some dealer with a sharp pair of scissors; a most impressive exhibition quality showpiece that would enhance any great collection; small tear in left side selvage, one horizontal crease and 3 vertical creases, and imprint cut in at bottom left cutting off part of the imprint on the plate block on the left sheet, otherwise Extremely Fine to Superb.
