 1902 NSW Design Blank Tablet 3d pale green with the Watermark Inverted (Normal) as ACSC D7 (as SG D4) but Perf 11.8 on all sides,
excellent colour, part-gum. Unlisted in both catalogues. Sold at our auction of 19.10.2007 for $7860. RPSV Certificate (2007) as the then ACSC D10var.
The ACSC used to state: "The 3d Perf 11.8 has been reported to exist and was previously listed, but no examples have been identified by modern-day collectors and the listing has been deleted pending confirmation of its existence." A used example
cancelled with indelible pencil - also with RPSV Certificate - sold for $4370 at our auction of 12.5.2007 (Sale 128 Lot 69). This unused stamp was discovered subsequently. The existence of both stamps was reported to Dr Geoff Kellow for inclusion in
the next edition of the ACSC. However, not only have these stamps not been listed, the previous note has been deleted. (Image1) (Image2)
