A GREAT RARITY FOR THE LIBERTY SERIES COLLECTOR.

Evidently, New Zealand forces were able to use the U.S. Army & Air Force Postal Service, but were required to pay the regular U.S. Airmail rate from Asia of 25¢ per half-ounce.

To put in perspective, the rarity of this usage, even at the war's peak, in 1968, New Zealand had only 548 military personnel in country. (Image1)
