A fresh mint strip of 4, still attached to an inverted Bureau-printed paper end-leader strip from a roll of 500, o.g., never hinged; position 1 with small tear at bottom, position 2 a diagonal crease, positions 3 & 4 light fingerprints - all noted on the accompanying certificate, otherwise Very Fine, with 2014 P.F. certificate.

This stamp was used by the Boy Scouts of America executive council for a mailing in 1922. The stamps are from the 1916 issue and were probably from an imperforate sheet privately perforated 14, rolled and applied by an unknown machine. (Image1)

Jun 23, 1917" duplex on special delivery cover to Detroit, Mich., purple "Special Delivery" straightline, Jun. 24th arrival backstamp; coils lifted and hinged in place to check watermark, right coil with tear and crease, pairs with s.e. at right, a Very Fine use, ex-Siskin, with 1966 and 2000 P.F. certificates.

Guide line strip of 5 & plain strip of 5 canceled with mute double ovals on a registered cover (window envelope) from Los Angeles on May 5, 1930; apparently originally addressed locally then redirected to San Francisco, then to Madison, Wis., and, finally, returned to sender with a final Los Angeles backstamp on May 26 and numerous intermediate handstamps; slight tear in glassine "window", otherwise Very Fine, ex-Griffith.

1924, 5¢ Roosevelt, horizontal rotary press coil. three singles tied by a New York machine cancel, Mar 29, 1930, on a damaged-in-handling Special Delivery cover from New York to Updala, Sweden, also bearing a "U.S. Ger. Sea Post, S.S. Geo. Washington" duplex handstamp of the same date on reverse; front bears handstamp "Received in Damaged Condition", and the back bears two Official Seals saying basically the same thing in German, "Der Seepost Hamburg-New York in beschädigtem Zustande zugegangen, daher amtlich verschlossen" with the addition of "officially sealed"; that being said, the only damage we see is that the right-most stamp is chipped, otherwise Very Fine.
