The left 1 a. with minor rubbed spot, otherwise very fine and fresh. An outstanding 1st issue rarity; one of the finest recorded 4 anna 3rd printing multiples on cover and truly exceptional. Slightly opened at left on arrival, with minor wear and a few small toned spots, not detracting from the fine and fresh appearance of this rare quadruple-rate franking.
