1407 O/nh   imageMint Never Hinged and Used Russia Collection, on pages in a Mystic Soviet Union album plus a couple of well-filled binders with collector's duplicates on Vario or Hagner stock pages. The Mystic album is gently used, has a mint never hinged collection from 1967 to 1991 and is about 80% complete in period. One of the two binders is quite thick and contains a used stamp accumulation from about the 1950s to the 1980s with, we estimate, more than 2,000 stamps, including a number of souvenir sheets. We estimate the second binder to contain more than 1,000 mint never hinged stamps, with this one also having numerous souvenir sheets. The two binders have duplication, but offer good variety. The bulk of the material is from the 1970s to the 1990s. This group includes more than 300 souvenir sheets and miniature panes which have quite good variety as well as another 150 or so which are of fewer than 10 different issues. There are more than 40 complete sheets along with another well over 100 part sheets. In a number of cases, these part sheets form complete sets, such as St. Vincent Scott #s 662-65 (x100 mint, c.v. $410 total), 1173-80 (x20 mint, $290 total) and The Grenadines of St. Vincent 133-52 (x20 mint, $300 total). We also observed more than 15 booklets. There are thousands of stamps in this group with a mix of good variety in some instances as well as heavy duplication in others. This is an excellent lot for the topical issue seller, with Animals, Birds, Butterflies, Music, Space and other themes well represented. Overall very fine.
