829 PC Belgium imageImportant Collection of 714 Belgian "Publibel Briefkaarten" Colour Advertising Stationery Cards, all neatly displayed in three cover binders (two are high quality leather). These cards all have colour illustrated advertising at the lower left corner of the address side. They are denominated 1fr20, 1fr50, 2fr, 2fr50, 4fr, 6fr, 6fr50, 7fr50, 8fr, 10fr and many others. All have been mailed (most domestically) and some are uprated with postage stamps, and we note some duplication but mostly a great variety of different advertising, in both French and Dutch. Includes a photocopy of a 42 page specialized catalogue for these with mint and used prices. A great collection which took a lifetime to assemble, overall very fine. 831 CVR British Commonwealth imageGroup of Roughly 55 Covers Franked with 1935 Silver Jubilee Omnibus Issues, on roughly 40 exhibit pages, housed in a binder. We note a mix of philatelic and commercial mail, ranging from years 1935 to 1936, including first day and last day covers (both with illustrated cachets), event covers with cachets, first flights, along with roughly 16 covers with full set frankings. Commercial mail includes solo, and partial set frankings paying domestic and overseas letter, postcard, and airmail rates. Just a few of the highlights include 1935 British Forces in Egypt "Jubilee Commemoration 1935" overprint seal on the back of military mail from Cairo; Mauritius registered letter to Reunion, paying 46c letter rate, partly franked with 5c and 12c Omnibus issues; Nyasaland First Flight to Mozambique, paying 4d airmail rate, with 1d and 3d Omnibus franking.
