562 CVR 141-145, E3 image1927 Confederation Set (plus E3) on First Trans-Canada Flight Cover, AMCN2 flight #PF29A cover (with McLaren Lumber Company handstamp on back) mailed from Montréal (with special 3-line flight slogan cancels) to Lethbridge, Alberta. The flight was abandoned due to problems obtaining insurance, and all the mail was sent to the Ottawa Dead Letter Office (JUL.19 c.d.s. on back). 500 covers were prepared to be mailed on this flight, and very few of them were franked with the complete 1927 Confederation set (issued only days prior) even fewer with the Special Delivery E3. Very fine and accompanied by the owner's long write-up, as well as a photocopy of two contemporary newspaper articles on the abandoned flight. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (All Scans)

563 CVR 141-148, E3 image1927 Confederation and Historical Sets (plus E3) on Registered Special Delivery Cover, a #10 size cover from the Columbia Phonograph Company mailed from Paris, ON on FEB.13.1928 (M.O.O.D. datestamps in purple tie all 9 stamps) to Toronto, with purple SPECIAL DELIVERY and registration handstamps (FEB.14 Toronto registered receiver) via TOR HAM & LON R.P.O. railway. 567 CVR   image1931 Vancouver to Colombia, via SCADTA Service, mailed Vancouver on JUL.14.1931 to the Royal Bank of Canada in Girardot, Colombia, where on arrival JUL.23 it received a Colombia #C59, 30c SCADTA stamp tied by SCADTA postmark (plus another strike on back). A scarce double-country franking, and based on the 9c Canadian franking plus the 8-day transit, it is assumed it only received the Airmail service on the first (within Canada), and last (within Colombia) part of the trip. 569 CVR CL1 image1918 Aero Club of Canada Semi-Official on Registered Cover Ottawa to Toronto, blue cover is franked with a 3c brown plus a 5c blue Admiral (both tied by Toronto roller), plus CLP1 (ideally on front) tied by large "by Aeroplane" flight cachet in blue, and there is a Toronto AUG.26.1918 c.d.s. free strike. The front of the cover also shows a dated Toronto "AERIAL MAIL" boxed cachet in violet, a light Toronto registration handstamp and an Ottawa same day receiver on back.
