4	O	1vi	1851 3d Red Beaver Imperforate on Laid Paper, with Major Re-Entry and Cracked Plate Varieties, a used vertical strip of three with target cancels, clear laid lines, and margins ranging from large to clear of outer framelines at top. The bottom stamp shows the major re-entry from position 61, pane B, showing the doubling of both left 3s, especially the lower left one. Catalogue value is for two very fine singles at bottom and a fine-very fine single at top, as the major re-entry is listed, but not valued in Unitrade. A very nice, and rare strip of three, accompanied by a 1993 David Brandon certificate. Rsv. $3,200. Added to the fact that any multiple of this proof is rare (especially blocks of four) is that each of the four stamps show strong signs of re-entries, un-erased guidelines, etc. Most notable are strong vertical lines through all four "12" of the lower left stamp, all four stamps also show additional lines inside or outside of the outer framelines, etc. A most interesting and rare item, very fine and catalogued as four normal singles only.
