2139 S S.G. #13S-16S var. imageS.G. #13S-16S var., 1907 4p to 5/- King Edward VII third series with "Specimen" overprint varieties, selection of six different varieties with all four values of the set reprepresented including two each of the 1/- Violet and green and 5/- Salmon and green, each overprint has a type flaw that is constant, nearly all identified by the plate position with one of each existing in the right and left panes of each sheet, the best known is the broken "M" variety, this example is on the 5/- (edge thin), but also includes short "I" and short right leg of "N", plus two different spurs on various parts of the "M", three values including the other 5/- without gum, fine-very fine; an excellent and very scarce lot for the specialist (Scott #13S-16S var.).
