Only one sheet of of fifty stamps (twenty-five pairs) was ever found of this important classic era error rarity. Nearly all possess similar centering to this example. However, unlike a number of known pairs which have heavy gum creases and other faults, this particular pair is completely fault free and has full clean original gum. A rare opportunity to acquire one of the finest pairs of the Eight Cent Trans-Mississippi, imperforate horizontally, in existence. Accompanied by a 1997 PF certificate; ex-Floyd. (Image) $25,000.00
