2454 og/nhO S.G. #116/121e S.G. #116/121e 1938-53 2/- to £1 King George VI reference collection consisting 61 mint and two used to show the different issues that were made over this fifteen year period, all have been identified by the collector according to the printing and often several printings apply to the same Stanley Gibbons number, we believe the Stanley Gibbons numbers are correct but the complete accuracy of the printing allocation cannot be guaranteed because it is very difficult to determine some of the printings, though it is substantially correct as this was the purpose and object of the specialized collection that Mr. Gosling formed, includes nearly all Stanley Gibbons numbers for different issues including better early issues, for example all four of the line perforated 14 1/4 are present though the 10/- is used, the other used stamp is the 12/6 Grey and yellow (S.G. #120d), nearly all are attractive mint singles, all have o.g. and a fair number are n.h., overall very fine or better; a very useful collection for identifying these numerous issues that are often difficult to identify without reference (Scott #123-128b). £6,600
