2186 c 38a, 39a image#38a, 39a, 1p Light blue and 2p Green, diagonal halves used as 1/2p and 1p respectively, tied to the same registered cover along with 2p Green and carmine from the first overprinted issue (#3), and 1p Light blue (#38), all tied by "Bonny/SP 11 94" squared circles, registered to Luton in England, London transit, backstamped, couple light horizontal creases to cover and small edge tears, not affecting the stamps, fine and scarce; the bisects were used out of Bonny River in August and September of 1894, covers out of the Niger Coast Protectorate are scarce in any condition and particularly nice with both bisects on the same cover (S.G. #46a, 47b).
