2212 og 107 var. image#107 var., 1914 "G.R.I./4d." surcharge on 40pf Lake and black, variety 4p instead of 5p, exceptionally attractive and fresh mint single on bright white paper, wonderfully well centered, o.g., lightly hinged, extremely fine; this is a variety that has been known for a long time and was previously listed in the major catalogs, Gibbs lists this variety (Gibbs #7a), noting that while this may be from the unofficial printings, there may have been one vertical row of this error in the original printing (it is now impossible to tell); 1964 RPS certificate as S.G. #107a when listed (S.G. #107 var.).
