781 og S.G. #64c imageS.G. #64c, 1915 "G.R.I./1d." surcharge on 3pf Brown, this is from the rare 6mm wide spacing issue, Gibbs setting 1B, mint single, fresh, o.g., h.r., very fine; not only is this the wide setting of which very few Marshall Islands stamps were overprinted, but setting 1B is an anomaly position that does not fit into the normal settings, heretofore this was only found on stamps of German New Guinea, this is the first Marshall Island stamp of any value to be recorded from this setting; 2001 Robert Gibbs certificate (Scott #30 var.).
