582 ogOc 16/16Bl Ryukyu Islands 1952 10Y on 50s surcharges award-winning six-frame exhibition collection, an impressive assemblage comprised of 707 mint stamps, 21 used stamps and nine covers in mounts and expertly written-up and annotated in detail on exhibition pages making up six full frames, includes singles, pairs, blocks of four and larger multiples, imprint and Higa seal multiples, largely complete sheet reconstructions of all three printings and five used Gushikawa postal forgeries, nearly all stamps plated with annotated details of the plate position characteristics, there are of course numerous varieties and errors throughout as listed in the Scott Specialized catalog, as well as many that are not, occasional small fault, but overwhelmingly o.g., mostly n.h., fine-very fine; a most remarkable collection which is ready to be exhibited again after decades of being away from the public eye; scans of the entire collection are available upon request.
