2847 O Great Britain used collection to 1935 on album pages, starts off with 25 examples of the One Penny Black, plus a showing of other Line Engraved Issues, two copies of the 1848 10p Embossed stamp, the 1864 1p Red includes a check-letter chart as well as all plate numbers except the rare No. 77 (but includes the scarce No. 225), Surface Printed issues are quite extensive, collected by plate numbers, includes the scarce 10/- (two) and £1 values, plus the £5 Orange, all three of the long £1 Queen Victoria values present, and a run of later issues including the £1 PUC, while condition is mixed as is typical of an early Great Britain collection, most appear fine or better and the total catalog value should be many multiples of our conservative estimate. 2860 ogO Japan mint and used collection to 1940 on Lighthouse hingeless pages, includes an extensive showing of mostly used early issues, with about 85 stamps from the 1871-1875 period, with some different plates and color shades, these seemed to have been purchased from a reliable source with most appearing genuine, several are signed Roig, later 19th century mostly used, starting in the 1920s the collection becomes predominantly mint, with a good run of commemorative sets and all the souvenir sheets including the 1934 Communications air post sheet of four, also the first air post set of two (APS/PF certificates), also includes some Manchukuo, o.g., some n.h., while the early issues are in typical mixed condition, the 20th century is generally fine-very fine; an interesting collection that deserves careful scrutiny.
