1861 Post Ticket ("Post Blanket") -lot containing three slightly different decorative pre-printed forms with the Moldavian Coat of Arms at top, paying for the coach and horses. All bear the large circular seal ornated with the Coat of arms of the
United Princiaplities and reading "UNITED PRINCIPALITIES OR MOLDAVIA AND WALLACHIA FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF MOLDAVIA" in black. A few irregularities in the margins and stains, punch holes, but attractive and rarely offered.

1865 confirmation of receipt form for a parcel sent on 14th of June 1865 from Mihaileni to Bacau, receiving postmark (17/6) and returning postmarks of Iasi (1/7) and Mihaileni (2/7) on reverse. The latter two postmarks, the A65 "scroll" in K.
Dragomir's book are early dates of usage, as the earliest recorded by Dragomir was from 26th of June. The parcel was sent registered and the payment was made in cash, below the "FRANCO" marking is written "2 20", probably a fee of 2 lei and 20 parale
(equal to 100 parale) was paid for the service. The item has ironed creases, otherwise fine. Unusual and scarce.
