2026 image1914/1920: Collection of twenty-five incoming letters with a range of routes taken. The most extraordinary being a Spanish letter first sent on 10. Jan. 1915, which went via Italy and Germany where it was stamped "ZURÜCK! KEINE BEFÖRDERUNGSGELEGENHEIT", so when it reached Spain again the route endorsement was changed to 'via Inglesa', the letter franked again and it duly arrived in Togo four weeks later. This and other items are worth close inspection.
