Obverse struck with ASSICURATA handstamp in red. An amazing combination 'paying' correctly the 14 grana letter rate up to a weight of 1¾ ounces, doubled for registration, a most appealing cover. Reverse with Napoli transit and GUARDIAGRELE arrival cds (Nov 29). The Province Napoletane adhesives were invalidated on October 1, 1862 and were tolerated until October 15.
