151 c 35 image35: 1¢ yellow orange pair tied by Montreal 10 JA '93 duplexes to large cover to Bel Abbès < BALGERIA via Paris 22 JA, the cover was originally mailed with an additional 3¢ SQ to pay the 5¢ UPU rate but the stamp fell off during transit and the cover was treated as unpaid upon receipt where a 50 centimes Postage Due was applied (double the 25 centimes UPU rate deficiency) and tied by 26 JA cds, cover was refused by addressee and returned to Canada with 26 and 28 FE Dead Letter Office cds cancels on back, despite the faults and folds, a most interesting and desirable Foreign Postage Due cover.
