50: ½¢ black,
paying the UNADDRESSED BOXHOLDER RATE of ½¢ per item (printed address is actually part of the advertising), lightly tied by roller cancel to all-over illustrated (front and back) Wilson Papermakers advertising card, a very rare franking
and possibly unique, as the typical (though scarce) ½¢ single franking as listed in UCS is for a wrapper (very few ½¢ stamps were properly used at the time of issue, as the supply was meager and most were bought up by speculators and collectors).

51: 1¢
orange, faulty when applied and cancelled by cork on partial NEWSPAPER WRAPPER with Parkhill (Toronto) return address advertising handstamp (front only, reinforced around edges), the franking should only have been ½¢ but owing to the
shortage produced by philatelic speculation, ½¢ stamps were only available when purchased as part of a complete set, so the post office actually sold the 1¢ value to Publishing Companies for ½¢ for use on large city household delivery periodicals and
newspapers between late June until early November, 1897, a VERY RARE 1¢ FRANKING. Ex - Brigham. (Image)
