1893 Columbian Exposition, Dedication Ceremonies, "Postponement" notice announcing a change of date for the Expo Dedication Ceremonies from October 12 to October 21, 1893; printed card plus a Complimentary Admission Ticket for the rescheduled ceremonies made out to "The Mayor of Fayetteville" (N.C.), and the Exposition Committee envelope in which the two were mailed to the Mayor, franked with a 2¢ carmine (220) tied by a Sep 8 Chicago machine cancel; cover with some toning and worm damage (mostly on the back) and the top flap is missing; the announcement and ticket are quite nice. 1901 Pan-American Exposition, Buffalo, N.Y., large size multicolor picture postcard - 9" x 6" - produced by the Niagara Envelope Manufactory featuring an aerial view of the complete grounds, bearing a 2¢ Pan-American (294) tied by an Oct 18, 1901 Pan-American Staion machine cancel; apparently never sent through the mail but given as a souvenir; brief note on the back reads "Buffalo, Oct. 18, 1901, Dear Susie from her Aunt"; couple light bends, virtually invisible from the front, Very Fine appearance, and rare seen used.
