Lot 961 - INDIA - 1854 ½a vermilion essay with 9½ arches in side border, SG 1, spectacular and important block of eight from the left side of the sheet (positions 17-20 / 25-28), very fine unused without gum as prepared with 4 full margins, part of the sheet margin re-attached with hinges well clear of the stamps & a small tear affecting position 25.
