987 imageIRELAND - 1815 (20 Jan) ELS with separate letter from Sir Robert Peel written at Dublin Castle who had been appointed Lord Lieutenant of Ireland where he laid the foundation of the Royal Irish Constabulary (he also established the Metropolitan Police). The ELS is clean and uncreased with red FREE date stamp and free-signed by Peel, also the letter signed by him.
