Vertical strip of six, gutter (Interspazio) between 5th and 6th stamps, cancelled by diamond of lozenges on petite folded cover to Rimini, "Imola" straightline, backstamped " 9 Aprile", strip with mostly full margins, just in a few places, fresh color, second stamp from right the noted as "otto filetti"

VERY FINE. AN EXTRAORDINARILY RARE GUTTER STRIP OF SIX OF THE 1852 HALF-BAJOCCHI CORRECTLY PAYING THE 3-BAJOCCHI RATE ON A PETITE COVER. IDEAL FOR EXHIBITION.

The largest strip listed in the Sassone catalogue is a strip of five, which catalogues €32,500 on cover. This strip of six, with the interspazio and otto filleti varieties, is even rarer and more desirable.
