FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 4-CENT BLUE KERR ISSUE ON OLD PAPER. ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL MEDICINE STAMPS.

Only 7 are recorded in the Aldrich census. Of these only 3 are reported as sound. The example with repaired tears offered in the 1991 Joyce sale and this example from our 2006 Tolman sale each realized more than 1.5 times Scott Retail value. This is the only example we have offered since keeping computerized records.
