Ample margins to slightly in, bright pastel shade, cancelled by two pen strokes, matching "Chickamauga Ten July 12" army field office manuscript postmark on oatmeal homemade cover to Jefferson S.C. from A. W. Thompson with letter datelined "Chattanooga Tenn. July 12th/63" to his parents, excellent content with news of military engagements, "Bragg taken to stand to fight Rosenkranz (who) would flank around him (Bragg) and we was obliged to fall back on Chatanoog during the fight...
