Inaugural AutoHammer Sale - February 13, 2025

StampAuctionNetwork is excited to announce the first-ever AutoHammer Auction, combining the best features of traditional auctions with the interactivity of live bidding! This new format allows Fixed Close Auctions, Mail Sales, and Internet-Only Sales to be conducted as live auctions, where bidders can place bids on each lot as it comes up, just like a real-time auction. Several auction houses have already signed up to use this new format, so this is your chance to experience the new format and give feedback live during the sale. These sales do not need audio, but I will be running an audio feed to stop occasionally to answer questions. So whether you are interested in the material in this sale or not, I recommend that you drop by and check it out. Now for the contents of the sale.

We start with a number of very high quality US and Canadian Classics and mix in some premium world singles and sets -- check out the France, then we continue our efforts to bring new collectors to auctions by offering a number of starter country collection lots. Each of these lots were pulled from worldwide collections to get a good start on collecting a country at low cost. The best way to start collecting a country is to buy a number of collection lots, merge them, learn what you like and then pursue the more expensive items, and you can do that with these lots. I expect there will be some seasoned bidders on these lots also, as some of these countries are in demand, and this is often where you find bonus items as none of these lots have been picked for single lot sales.

In somewhat the same light, I have put together some mint sheet lots that are premium items in the market today, including the 29c Legends Original (Recalled) Sheet of 20, a complete set of the Lunar new years, Legends of Hollywood, Bugs Bunny, Disney, Star Wars and Star Trek, etc... So enjoy those. And we have a good start on a complete collection of African American Subjects on Stamps starting with W.C. Handy in 1969 to the Snowy Day and African American Museum issues.
